Pakistan's 'national tragedy': 130 people, mostly children, killed as Taliban gunmen storm Peshawar school, siege lasts 8 hours - Hindustan Times

At least 130 Pakistani nationals, most of them children, were killed on Tuesday when about six Taliban gunmen stormed an army-run school in Peshawar, in one of the bloodiest terror attacks in the country in years. The siege that started at 11:30am (India time) lasted almost eight hours. All six militants were gunned down. Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif described Tuesday's attack as a 'national tragedy'.
