Novel suit to determine if soldiers can sue over wartime terrorism
A new complaint claims that Barclays, Standard Chartered, HSBC, Credit Suisse and RBS conspired with Iranian banks to facilitate financial transactions by militant groups targeting U.S. troops during the Iraq conflict. The plaintiffs will have to show that the alleged Iranian-sponsored attacks weren't acts of war.
