Jamshed Javeed, 30, of Levenshulme, Manchester, pleaded guilty to two counts of preparing for acts of terrorism at Woolwich Crown Court in London. Javeed, a married father-of-one, intended to join rebels fighting Syrian forces loyal to Assad.
