Under fire Met chief Sir Craig Mackey acted 'sensibly' by locking himself in his car during Westminster attack, says coroner
A Met Police chief who stayed inside a locked car during the Westminster terror attack acted “sensibly” and could have done nothing to save murdered PC Keith Palmer, a coroner has said.  Sir Craig Mackey witnessed the atrocity last March when terrorist Khalid Masood burst through the gates of Parliament and stabbed the unarmed PC to death, and he told an inquest this week that he was inside a locked car at the time.
